This section offers glimses of the wondrous beings we are — when we define our identity not by the master narrative of separation, but rather by our connection with the Universe. As discussed in Handbook for a Phase Transition, a star chart represents the solar system at the time of a person’s birth. The sketches here use poetry to describe dimensions of personal presence suggested by the planetary configuration at that moment. They have been — and continue to be — written for real people. Sketches will be added until there is at least one for each calendar day. Not all from the same year, since they describe actual individuals of all ages.

Our calendar follows only Earth's movement around the Sun, while the positions of the Moon and planets change by the minute, by the year as well as by the day. A sketch for someone with a different birth year than yours will draw from a different solar system arrangement. Yet even if you don't find your particular birth year here, you may find resonance in a sketch written for someone else with the same birth day — due to the importance of the Sun sign and the likelihood of having other aspects of the chart in common.

Ultimately, insofar as we all participate in a collective identity, we all share — and can delight in — the unique way each of us expresses Being.
